We loved working with the team at Trans Pride Bristol to bring their new name to life. They work tirelessly to champion equity and diversity and we can’t wait to see the new identity that we created for them at events, protests and parties across Bristol.
Brief
Raise the profile of this brilliant organisation and the vital work they do for the trans community in Bristol through an updated identity and eye-catching collateral for marches.
Context
The organisation had recently decided to rename itself Trans Pride Bristol (formerly Trans Pride South West) and was looking for an updated identity that encapsulates both the trans community and the organisation’s locale. While their team channelled all resources into eradicating discrimination based on gender identity, we were able to direct ours into hitting the brief on a proudly pro bono basis.
Creative Solution
A hot air balloon motif in soft pink and blue celebrates both the classic trans right colours and grounds the design firmly in Bristol, to match the organisation's new name and commitment to serving this local community. We provided accompanying guidelines so that the brand can be used consistently across all materials and the new brand mark was also designed onto a large, rectangular, vinyl banner - a bold and instantly recognisable asset perfect for protesting.
