Music For Youth
It’s not often we hear the word ‘psychedelic’ in client briefings - and Design Lead Laurie really ran with it! The result is a bold, bright and (we think) really rather brilliant theme that perfectly reflects the incredible work that this inspirational charity does.

Brief
Create and implement a visual theme that Music For Youth (MFY) can use across collateral for a whole year to raise awareness and enhance the organisation’s profile.
Context
Usually, MFY designs bespoke marketing materials for each of its events, which put British under-25s front and centre in some incredible musical performances across the UK. But in 2024 they wanted to unite all the events under a more cohesive identity - it had to be eye-catching, buoyant and reflect the wide variety of musical expressions on show.
Creative Solution
We really enjoyed designing this one! The MFY team were keen to experiment with photography, illustration and a combination of both - but ultimately felt that our purely illustrative approach captured the vibrant spirit of the theme best. Starting from the existing brand palette, we injected a more psychedelic scheme that conveys the energy and vibrancy of the events and used this visual language to create a suite of collateral including email signatures, web banners and social media tiles.
