As an agency it’s always a great compliment when an old contact wants to take you with them to a new role, in a new company! We guess that means they enjoyed working with us, right?
So when we were contacted by long-term connection and Marketing Professional, Abbie Strowbridge-Knight, to work with her new employer, The Chartered Institute of Logistics & Transport (UK), or CILT (UK), to support them with all their online and offline design work, we were absolutely delighted to welcome them on board as a new client.
As well as developing a series of new icons for them to represent their membership sectors, one of our most recent projects for CILT was their 2021 Annual Conference ‘A Blueprint For Delivering a Better Future’. Like most events this year, the CILT Conference was to be held entirely online.
According to Abbie,
“soap creative was immediately my go-to supplier after being entrusted with organising the CILT Conference artwork. Having worked with soap previously, I knew they would provide some great concepts and the final design was well received by everyone at CILT(UK). I’m looking forward to working with them on other CILT projects in the future.”
The brief from the client was to give the Conference a fresher and more vibrant look that would be more appealing to a younger target audience. Another ‘must-have’ was to ensure that all their transport sectors were captured across all their graphics and imagery.
The new look was to be applied across their website and social media graphics, printed adverts, PowerPoint template, and a digital flipbook.
Wanting to offer a completely different style from previous years, the soap design team opted to go down the illustration route, incorporating all transport sectors covered by CILT, together with a brighter and more vibrant colour palette.
Despite having to hold the event completely online, the conference was a great success with over 150 attendees and plenty of positive feedback from members regarding their new look!
